Born from lived experience
The inspiration behind FASD Assist and the platform itself came from lived experience. For years, we watched youth and adults living with FASD struggle to access consistent support, organization tools, life skills training, funding resources, and understanding from the world around them.
Bridging the gap in support
Families and caregivers were often left trying to manage everything alone — appointments, routines, finances, emotional regulation, safety concerns, paperwork, communication with support workers, and daily life challenges that many people never see. We realized there was no single tool bringing these supports together in a simple, accessible, and respectful way. FASD Assist was created to help bridge that gap.
A personal mission, a shared vision
What started as a vision to support one family quickly grew into something much bigger — a platform designed to support caregivers, youth, adults, and care teams through practical tools, structure, communication, education, and encouragement. This project is deeply personal because it was built from real-life experience.
